What are some of your childhood stories?
Once when i was a child my family whent to Mexico. I had heard of the state New Mexico and asked her if that was wear we were going. She told me no that we were going to old mexico. So after returning and school started, I told my teachers that I had gone to Old Mexico for the summer. I also told many other people this. Most if not all told me that there was no such thing as Old Mexico. It only confused me. After argueing with them I started to wonder wear it was that we had gone and why was I not told wear this place was.
Years later.
I had to been about OH, twelve or so. My aunt, same one, and her grand dauter and I whent to Sams Club. You know how they have those sample things to test the foods and see if you like it before buying it? Well, my aunt told my little cousin that we were going to eat lunch at Sams. So while getting out of the car to head inside, my little cousin saw a building, maybe a storage buildybuilding, and asked if that was wear we were going? My aunt answered her and said no, then pointed at the store and told her that we were going in there. So after walking around the place for a while, my little cousin asked again, "When are we going to Sams house to Eat?" So my aunt did the only thing she could think of with out having to go in to a long explanation and told her that we were in Sams house and the samples wer lunch. Soon after we passed by the toys. Oh yes, my little cousin went nuts. She then proceeded to tell my aunt that she wanted to live with Sam so she could play with his toys.
Lol!
Nice!
Sounds like your aunt isn't a good explainer. I wouldve said ""We're going to another country called Mexico. That's how New Mexico got it's name." And "Sam's is the name of the store. Maybe, the man who owns it is named Sam." At least, it's pretty accurate information. And if you or your cousin would've asked more questions, then there's always an encyclopaedia, or nowadays, the internet, to explain things.
Once for Christmas my grandma gave me this gurilla with a leather jacket on. when you pushed it's hand, it sang "Wild thing". I played it for my cousin who was two at the time to show it to her. It scarrd her so bad that she ran away crying. I loved it. I would chace her around the house for as long as I could get away with it playing the gurilla. I think what scarrd her the most is how it's mouth mooved. haaahahaahahaa
lol that is so cruel but yet i am finding myself smiling with evil pleasure as well. Interesting. hmmm. Nice. I like it. Well once when I was a child, I:
owned two motorbikes and 2 go carts, not all at the same time of course, and I owned a car. I owned more than one but they don't count because after the first car died I was a teenager. I lived on a farm you see.
lol!
